The library of the Statistical Institute of Catalonia is specialised in statistical information on Catalonia. It also has an important historical collection of Spanish statistics, along with statistics from the autonomous communities. Finally, it contains a selection of statistics on the European Union and important international organisations.

Hours open to the public

General: working days from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
No service: 24th and 31st December
Special: during the month of August there is no in-person service

Outside these hours you can make your request for statistical information by accessing the Queries. You may also send us your suggestions.

The Library has resumed face-to-face services, following the lockdown due to the state of alarm caused by COVID-19.

If you wish to access the Consultation Hall, you need to make an appointment by calling us on 935 573 100 or by emailing us at biblioteca arroba idescat punto cat. You will need to provide your personal details so that we can contact.
