This publication contains the most important main aggregates for the catalan economy, which are calculated on a yearly basis by the Institute, including the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Gross Value Added (GVA) and disposable family income. It also contains information on the labour market, prices and salaries, and the foreign sector of the catalan economy. Information is included on the Spanish and European Union economies in order to facilitate comparative analysis. The statistics are accompanied by an analysis generated by the Directorate General of Economic Programming of the Generalitat de Catalunya's Department of Economy and Finances.
