This publication contains the estimated population by sex and age in Catalonia as a whole, areas within the Territorial Plan, provinces, counties and Aran, and municipalities with 50,000 inhabitants or more, on 1st January. These statistics have been generated according to the components method, adding births, deaths and migrations broken down by sex and age to the census population.
