A Zip file is provided with files in Shapefile format, with the variables of sex, age, nationality and place of birth, from the Population Register of Catalonia on the 1st of January 2016, in a multiresolution grid (62.5 m, 125 m and 250 m) compatible with EEA reference grid - European Environment Agency. The ZIP file also contains a PDF with the methodology.

Furthermore, the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia provides a tool based on these data which allows you to make personalised population maps and insert them into a web page.
