This volume contains statistical data on the distribution of the legal population of Catalonia by municipalities, counties and provinces, according to sex and major activity sectors: agriculture, industry, construction and services. It includes specific data on the employed, unemployed and retired population, the last two with reference to the previous employment. These statistics come from the 1991 Population Census and have been generated through a co-operation agreement between Idescat and INE.
